More About Wendy

In 1984, I graduated from Bowdoin College in Maine with a BA in English. After a short stint of dating surfers and teaching riding in Pebble Beach, CA., I was a journalist, writing for weeklies. When my two babies were born, a year-and-a-half apart, I put on a new hat, putting all my organizational skills to work as a mom to Ben and Charlotte.

Today, after more than a decade as “The Mudroom”, I am in a happy groove pursuing my life’s absolute passion: helping others reclaim their love for home and life.

As a professional organizer, my goal is to turn your chaos into calm. This begins by helping you sort through belongings, and determining what stays and what goes. Then, we will work together to find the right place for all your items. Along the way, I’ll teach you the skills to become more organized in whatever aspects of your home or office that are giving you grief.

Organizing comes naturally to me and it’s something I am passionate about. That starts with my own personal space. I firmly believe that less is more. It’s something I live by in my own home. You may not want to downsize to the extent I did, but we can help make your home or office function better and be more livable.

Want more energy in your life, and less clutter and the stress that comes along with it? Give me a call, and we’ll come up with a holistic plan together.

Wendy Arundel

Experienced Professional Organizer

If you ask any of my friends and clients for one word that describes who I am, they’ll say ‘organized’. My father was a Marine and he thrived on raising five mini-Marines, starting our day with his bugle call, “Up and at ’em!”

Two memories have had a significant, lasting impacts on me. First, our mudroom – with its multitude of pegs and cubbies, each one meticulously labeled (even the dogs and cats had cubbies for their stuff). And, our family chore board, which is how mom and dad kept five children busy, a house clean, and everyone exercised, dressed, and fed. Dad taught me the value of routines, hard work, and putting everything in its place, especially in the barn, my haven. Pony Club and riding competitively honed my sense of order, self-discipline and self-confidence.
