The biggest challenge my clients face is asking for help. For some, it can feel like a failure that you need help in taking care of your own home. Nothing could be further from the truth. If anything, it shows you are secure enough to know when you need professional assistance in achieving the outcome you want—an organized home.
I recently experienced this myself when my copywriter friend asked if I ever asked for Google Reviews. He noted there were only a few up there and then recommended dedicating an issue of this newsletter to asking for reviews.
Had I not accepted the help of a professional, I would have never received the following:
“I worked with Wendy in preparation for the difficult task of downsizing and moving out of our family home of 25 years – a decidedly emotional experience. She is fabulous! Wendy is efficient, effective, brutally honest (but in a kind way) and comes up with creative solutions for handling those “things” to which we are emotionally attached. It was also just fun to be around her and talk about life, love and family as we went about this most “unfun” task.”—Tina Traficanti
“Understand that Wendy is not here to alphabetize your spices and remove stickers from your now-adult child’s bedroom. Call her when you are both: READY for greater peace in your home life and WILLING to let her help you evolve your relationship with “stuff”. You (and those you live with) will be grateful for the lasting change.”—Anne Rowley
“Everyone should have a little “Wendy” in their lives! She bagged and folded and labeled my home into a state of peace and blissful organization. 5 stars!!”—Lisa Kantor
There are more but you get the idea. Had I not sought the help of a professional, there would still only be one Google Review and not several.
