That’s what my copywriter friend asked me the other day. My answer may have surprised him:
“I’m not really interested in 5-star Google reviews.”
After picking up his marketing-centric brain from the floor, he asked me why.
“I don’t really care about 5-star Google reviews.”
He went on to explain how it helps your search engine optimization and makes it easier for people to find you online, etc. All very good reasons for wanting reviews. Yet that’s not why I do what I do.
I’m a professional organizer who loves what I do. I’m good at it and I love helping people. And I DO receive a lot of reviews/comments from clients. Most are done in person, face-to-face, and are extremely heartfelt. Here are just a few recent ones:
“After you, I look at life through a different lens. It’s like my life is a different camera.”
“I changed my course after I met you.”
“Thank you so very much–life is feeling lighter.”
“You know what Wendy? You bring peace.”
These are a small sample of comments I’ve received. There have been many more over the years. I hold those near and dear to my heart.
For many people, most people, hiring an organizer takes a bit of courage. A lot of people do not want to admit, let alone ask for help. So it’s certainly understandable that you may not want to put it out there publicly that you hired an organizer. And that’s fine. My entire goal is to help you meet your goals. That truly is the reward for me. Everything else is gravy.
That said, if you would like to share the difference working with The Mudroom has made in your life, here’s a link to do so.
